Our Year
This year, we will journey together in preparation and relationship with the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, to receive His gifts of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. We will go on adventures with British authors, navigate through local bodies of water and weather systems, and investigate the interesting life cycles of insects and mammals. We will read and explore the fascinating friendship of Charlotte and Wilbur in the classic story of Charlotte's Web. We will conduct experiments with forces and materials.
All in all, there's much to look forward to in the Grade 2/3 class and I can't wait for you to join me and begin this amazing year to remember.
Field Trips
In grade 2 we will travel, a couple of times, to the Great Blue Heron Reserve and welcome snazzy scientists to our classroom. We will conclude our year by visiting Westminster Abbey in Mission.
